A 3-mile circular walk starting at Danbury Common car park, past Danbury Church and through Danbury Park. No stiles, but often very muddy in winter months on some paths.

Car parking is free at the moment at Danbury Common but not at Danbury Park.

The walk starts at Danbury Common Park and heads north across Common Lane and Penny Royal Road and straight ahead through the wide gate and up the track towards Danbury Church. Just before the church go through the gate on left through the graveyard and follow the path through the houses taking the third turn right down to The Heights off Well Lane. Turn left into the small crescent road at the bottom, then cross Well Lane carefully. The footpath entrance is in front of you. Wander through wooded areas and then around the lakes. To return exit at the second car park into Woodhill Road. In a short way on the other side, there is a parallel footpath that takes you to Ludgores Lane. Follow the lane turning left at the end at Ball Farm and turn left up Pump Lane which becomes an enclosed path. At the end of the path turn into Plumptre Lane proper and at the Bicknacre Road cross carefully and take the path straight ahead of you which takes you back to the Common car park.
