Boreham to Papermill Lock Loop

Boreham to papermill lock walk of 5 miles.

The original planned route had to be adapted due to the footpath going across a field that has been recently ploughed. The lovely route across open countryside with wide accessible paths. Was quite boggy and waterlogged in some places. Waterproof boots and gaiters were a must. Lovely stop at the Papermill Lock Tea Rooms approx halfway around with public toilets. Easily accessible parking on the roadside and the start of the route are easy to find.
